    Monthly cleaning and maintenance of your RetractAscreen is quick and easy requiring minimal effort - no need for washing, scrubbing or harsh chemicals.  Simply dust the mesh with a soft feather or microfibre duster, then follow up with quick brush and vacuum of the tracks to loosen and remove any dust or debris.!  The tracks will need a light spray with an approved silicone lubricant ensure smooth operation and prolong the life of the screens.  On installation, we will demonstrate the cleaning routine and provide you with a Care & Maintenance Kit – Instruction Leaflet, Silicone Spray and a Brush for the tracks.

  • Are your custom fly screens weatherproof?

    No. Simply put, they’re designed for insect exclusion, not weatherproofing! Whilst our retractable fly screens are made from quality materials for long-lasting performance and durability, the mesh in particular should never be left exposed to the elements when not in use.  They are not intended for use as sunshades or water barriers! The powder-coated aluminium tracks and housing will comfortably resist any deterioration from prolonged exposure to the elements, but care must be exercised with the mesh ensuring it is properly rolled away after use.  The mesh is perfectly protected by the robust housing during high winds, heavy rain and extreme temperatures.
